I am extremely passionate about my profession and have wanted to attend a ROMP Global mission for several years. I have finally decided to apply my skills and serve with their incredible team.

 

The Range of Motion Project’s mission is to ensure access to high-quality prosthetic care for underserved people, improving their mobility and independence. ROMP believes that access to mobility is a human right regardless of financial well-being, race, gender, orientation, or any other common barrier to care.

 

I was accepted into the volunteering program from the 13th – the 22nd of October 2023, in Guatemala City. The program costs $1800 and in addition, I am appealing for help with my flights to and from Guatemala, in order to serve with ROMP’s incredible team, and volunteers from around the world, in the clinical, manufacturing, and rehabilitation processes to provide prosthetic limbs to as many patients as we can.

 

All contributions are accepted as a little goes a long way. Any funds exceeding the costs of the entry fee and flights will go towards material used for pediatric socket designs and donated directly to ROMP.
